DNA methylation levels of ovules after TSA treatment in vitro culture. Ovules of −1 DPA (days post anthesis) were treated with 10 μmol·L −1 TSA for 4 and 7 days in vitro. Dot blot assay was performed using specific anti-5mC (upper) and anti-6mA (lower) antibodies with the genomic DNA from ovules treated with TSA or Mock. The amounts of gDNA loaded are indicated on the left. Images of the experiment were captured by Electron Microscope. Three replications were carried out and all showed similar results.
